The AVÊÓƵ has been ranked once again as one of the world’s top 150 universities.

The University has risen 15 places to 146^th in the . The University is 19^th out of the UK institutions ranked.

The rise means that Sussex has continuously been ranked in the world’s top 200 for the past decade and has spent nine of those years in the top 150.

This year has seen more universities ranked than ever before – 1,396 institutions across the globe – which makes Sussex’s rise all the more impressive.

The University’s scores increased across the board, going up for teaching, research, how often our research was cited by others, industry income and international outlook.

Adam Tickell, Vice-Chancellor, said: “It is hugely rewarding to see Sussex once again named as one of the world’s very best universities, especially in the context of the most competitive global environment of our lifetimes.

“The most exciting thing for us is that we know there is so much more we can do – our Sussex 2025 vision is already transforming the way we teach, research and engage with the world."
