Looking to boost your CV, meet new people and earn new skills – all while making a difference to your local community? Introducing the Intergenerational Exchange Programme!
The Intergenerational Exchange Programme is an initiative based at Sussex University, which connects university students to older community members in Brighton & Hove.
The programme aims to boost wellbeing, enact knowledge exchange, and create community. The project identifies both older community members (55+) and university students as isolated groups who benefit from wellbeing and community participation.
The programme runs monthly workshops and befriending sessions during term time. To find out more and express your interest, please get in touch with Chloe Bowen: cb663@sussex.ac.uk.
For the LGBTQ+ branch of the intergenerational project, please get in touch with Elle Whitcroft: ew266@sussex.ac.uk.
