Prof. Xiaopeng Wang (Leo), obtained his Ph.D. degree in Image & Signal Processing from University of Bath in 2007，and had worked in the research areas across cognitive robots, semiconductor, and geoscience with his career at ARM HQ in Cambridge and Shell UK. He founded EyeSmart - an AI company invested by Intel, IBM, Lenovo, etc. which valued $150mln 9 years ago. 

Currently, his new research and career direction is focusing on Artificial Intelligence, Image Processing, Medical Imaging, Machine Learning, Data Science, Robotics and Autonomous Systems, especially in the areas of using Artificial Intelligence to resolve the real-world challenges that humans and the Earth are facing, including AI for Health, AI for Agriculture, AI for Earth, FinTech. He has obtained over 150 Intellectual Property rights worldwide and has been awarded UK Global Talent as the exceptional talent in Digital Technology, Innovation and Entrepreneurship. He holds the professorship in Artificial Intelligence.
