AVÊÓƵ Campus : Sussex Sport Centre, Beryl bike station, BN1 9RB
Part of the series: Sustainability - Welcome Week
Would you like to try cycling to town from campus and check out the route from the University?
Brighton is a busy town but has cycling infrastructure in place, so that you can safely choose to walk and cycle to and from campus. Whether you want to be more environmentally friendly or you just love cycling, for this bike ride to start discovering your commute options!
We’ll be cycling from campus to (in Brighton) in the afternoon and there is a chance to cycle to the campus in the morning (). The entire route is on dedicated cycling lanes, however you need to already be comfortable on a bike.
Come along to try out the route together and explore part of the city. The ride is also a good opportunity to meet like-minded students – maybe you could cycle to Brighton together next time?
If you have a bike, bring it with you, otherwise you will be able to use a Beryl bike. For this, please prior to the event. Please also bring a helmet, if you don’t have one then please contact Monika (m.farkas@sussex.ac.uk) to request to borrow one. You won’t be allowed to take part without a helmet.
