Module Outline

Developing on the skills you will have learnt on Introducing Media, Film and Music, this module will help you become confident in applying subject knowledge and study skills to specific research tasks. You will build develop a small research study which you will present visually, before being supported to evolve your own subject-related interests into an independent research project.

Use knowledge of relevant social and historical contexts to evaluate the significance of media, film and/or music case study.

Apply relevant critical theory to an investigation related to media, film and/or music.

Apply appropriate visual and written communication skills to the presentation of research about a media, film and/or music case study.
