Module learning outcomes
- Analyse and identify the correct physics concepts in problems involving heat, thermal energy, thermodynamics, simple harmonic motion, elasticity, fluid dynamics.
- Mathematically solve simple problems involving heat, thermal energy, thermodynamics, simple harmonic motion, elasticity, fluid dynamics.
- Demonstrate a sufficient understanding in the material of the module for subsequent core modules in physics and engineering which include properties of matter.
