My resesarch focuses on visually guided navigation, and, more specifically, how we can use ants and bees as a model sysyem. My work combines biorobitcs and simulation studies in order to shwed light on the remarkable navigational abilities of social insects. I am currently employed on the Brains on Board project, a collaboration with QMUL and the University of Sheffield, developing bee-inpsired homing algorithms for robots.
