Supply chain operations increasingly depend on advanced information systems to achieve the performance required by evermore demanding customers. This module will give you a deep understanding of information systems, particularly Enterprise Resource Planning systems. The module incorporates a number of case studies to demonstrate the usefulness of systems in the supply chain of organisations.
Upon finishing this module, you'll achieve an in-depth understanding of the way information systems for supply chains are designed, developed, integrated, adapted, and evaluated.

Contact hours and workload
This module is approximately 150 hours of work. This breaks down into about 30 hours of contact time and about 120 hours of independent study. The University may make minor variations to the contact hours for operational reasons, including timetabling requirements.
