The Vice-Chancellor’s Office is responsible for the overall management and leadership of the University.
The Vice-Chancellor and President
The Vice-Chancellor and President is the University’s chief academic and executive officer. She is a member of Council, the University’s governing body, and Chair of Senate, the University’s academic body.
Professor Sasha Roseneil took up her post as Vice-Chancellor at Sussex in August 2022.
University Executive Team (UET)
The Vice-Chancellor and President are supported by the University Executive Team.
The UET advises the Vice-Chancellor, steers the University, and provides a formal management link between members of the executive and the Heads of School and heads of the Professional Services.
